Parish Youth Group

The mission of the parish Youth Group is to encourage teens as disciples of Jesus Christ to defend Catholic doctrine, support all Sanctity of Life issues, and remain dedicated to the Gospel of Life. This includes prayers for the unborn, support of special needs persons, and respect for the elderly.

The Youth Group of OLMC, Roseto was established on July 8, 2015 and is a continuation of the 15 years of the Pro-Life Club which was established at Pius X High School. Upon the closure of Pius X, Rev. James Prior, C.M., Pastor of OLMC Church, invited the teens to keep the group intact under the church’s mantle.

Serving as our Youth Minister is Ms.Linda Basso who in her 19th year of youth ministry provides the teens with a safe and nurturing environment where they can share spiritual activities and enhance leadership skills. The youth group is open to students of the parish from Grades 6-12.

The OLMC Youth Group meets monthly, usually on Sunday evenings from 6:00-7:30 p.m. in the church hall.

The support of our teens’ parents is a stepping stone for each project. New members are always welcome!
